Entering the Grand Line, Brook and crew faced many difficulties and continued to sing along during the cruise. But one day, the crew Rumbar disaster hits. Captain Yorki along with some crew attacked by a mysterious illness while entering a forest. To prevent infecting other crew, Yorki decided he and his crew will bring the infected away from the Grand Line to cross the Calm Belt. Before parting, Yorki asked Brook and other crew to convey his greetings to Laboon, including playing his favorite song "Bink Sake" for the last time. Brook and the remaining Rumbar Pirates then went on their way with a new ship. He was appointed as the new captain and starting to get the value of the bounty during the trip. All went well at first, but when they entered the Florian Triangle, they were attacked by some enemy pirates. Brook and some of the crew survived the attack, but exposed to toxins from enemy weapons. Because doctors have been killed in the attack, each one of them falls dying. Realizing has eaten the Devil Fruit Yomi Yomi no Mi and will come back to life, Brook suggested that they play one last song and record it on a Dial Tone. Brook promised his crew when he got up later will make this song to Laboon. Excited to hear his advice, they began to exert all the strength to play a favorite song, "Bink Sake".
